            Not the best weather again this weekend but when ya gotta go... A good friend of mine Mike Bond is leaving for Afghanistan in a week and I promised him if he came in town I would take him fishing. So 50 degree weather and 30 mph winds didn’t stop us. We did get to launch at Sherman Cove so we had a short run. We went to the same hole I fished last week and thank goodness the fish were still there. I had my doubts because of the two cold fronts that pushed through back to back. We caught 6 black drum and another 6 sheepshead. The bite wasn’t on fire but it was steady so it kept us busy. We got back to the house and fried them up. We had a great time. I can’t wait for him to get home safe so we can do it again. (Better weather the next time hopefully).
