Today was a great trip. I had the pleasure of fishing with Bart, Jim, Brian and Tony. All great guys and lots of fun. We started our trip out of Navy point at 2pm and headed for the pass. We drifted some deep spots and caught several sheepshead and a few real nice Red fish (over the slot but a great fight). We had our run ins with the cat fish or as these guys reffered to as Catfish Hunter. But, the bite was steady. After filling the cooler. We decided to change tactics and try some lighter tackle in shallower water in the gulf. So we headed out of the pass and hit some short holes. The sheepshead again where steady but a little bigger and a lot more fun on the light tackle. As the trip was coming to an end Bart wanted me to show him a few good spots he could fish in his canoe so we headed in to the lagoon for a little site seeing and headed for the dock 6pm.
So with that said what do you get when you cross four guys $40 and a live well filled with live shrimp. The answer is in the pictures. Thanks you guys for a great trip. And thank you Natalie for setting all this up. Oh and happy birthday to Bart.
