Despite the cold, the wind and the rain, the fishing has been great... The redfish have been hanging around in herds everywhere from yellow river to the gulf. The three mile bridge has been holding an unusual amount of fish. From grouper and big reds to white trout and whiting. The flounder have retreted into a little deeper water seeking much needed refuge on the shallow wrecks in the gulf. The speckled trout have moved in on the other hand to the safer shallower creeks, rivers, and bayou's. Great start to 2008 i hope to see you on the water...
